Lignano Sabbiadoro is a charming Mediterranean town on the Adriatic coast halfway between Venice and Trieste. The special features are its beach of gold sand from which the area takes its name "Golden Sand", the Mediterranean pine forest and green spaces.
Lignano is divided into three complementary locations but with some differences:
Sabbiadoro oder Sabbia d'oro is the part that was first developed at the dawn of the last century. With its pedestrian street with shops, bars and trendy restaurants over the wide beach offers holiday full of fun and wild life.
Pineta is also called the pearl of the Adriatic. Thanks to the project development of the famous italian architect Marcello d'Olivo, its conformation is studied today in the universities of design and architecture. The peculiarity of Lignano Pineta are its prestigious villas and high quality services offered. The center, also called the "Train of stores," offers a wide range of products from take away ice cream to nice boutiques with famous brands for shopping Made in Italy. The beach is very well maintained.
Riviera is the most recent developed area of ​​Lignano and is also the area where the nature is most preserved. If you walk throug our Pines, flowers, beautiful plants and hedges you will feel of being in a heavenly world. The beach of Lignano is the flagship of our resort and it is awarded every year by the European Blue Flag which means water and beach clean and high quality services. The beach is all served with sun umbrellas and sun beds as well as a snack bars and lifeguards. The backdrop slopes gently offering fun and safe bathing for children and adults. By us, children are considered Special Guests and have a great time playing with sand building sand castles together with their proud parents or grandparents.
