100 years ago, when Lignanos beach was still wild, the Hotel Marin was built up by Angelo Marin, a young pioneer with futurvisions and joy of adventuring. He soon recognized, that Lignano will become a touriststation in the near future. The material used for building up the hotel had to be delivered by ships coming from Marano. The following years Angelo Marin was helped by his son Angelo junior and his daughter in law Curzia in leading the hotel. Nowadays his grandson Marco and his family, keep up the leading of the Hotel Marin, continuing the tradition of the Marin family.
