From the 3rd to
the 7th July 2005 in Lignano took place the European Youth
Olympic Festival, in which have been participating about
2750 young athletes from 48 European states. There took
place competitions in 10 different kinds of sports:
Football, Track-and-field, Basket, Judo, Tennis, Gymnastic,
Volleyball, Canoe, Swimming, Handball.
